Your Chinese Drywall Story

All the relevant government agencies are scrambling for answers. Lots of ‘ifs, maybes, possibly, and doubtful’ at this point. Everyone is extremely cautious but some agency or agencies should be accountable for the miserable physical, emotional, and financial mess it has caused so many, many frustrated, undeserving people.
What is your story?

We recently discovered that our entire home has Chinese drywall. After Hurricane Katrina, we had our home completely gutted and rebuilt only to recently discover that the drywall that was used in our home is the Chinese drywall that was broadcasted on the news some time ago. We are devasted. Now we have to completey gut out the house again and start over.

We discovered this nightmare be contacting an A/C company to come out to check our central A/C units. They were not functioning properly. The gentleman took a look and came back to say that he suspects that we have Chinese drywall. We called an environmental company to come out to test the drywall. The guy came out the next day and confirmed that we indeed had Chinese drywall. My two young children had to live in the phemaldehyde FEMA trailer for 18 months and is now living is a toxic home for over two and half years. We are so frustrated. We already have two mortgages on our home. We have no clue how we are going to correct this matter.
